Not sure whether this one has laready been covered as i've only just finished MT and moved to this forum but: Back in MOI I beleive it was, Paran and his crew whilst flying with the moranth stopped at a smell they detected. They then find a tiste edur who had been 'crushed under an enormous amount of pressure' could it be possible (as they later speculate) that it was throw out of a warren, and that this warren was Mael's and the edur got there because as his guise of Bugg he sent him there for stomping on tehol's face?
Not too sure about timeline issues but there's no reason to say that he didn't stay in there for a while...

Yes it's him.
The janitor must have throw him out after some time. It's dirty...

Theradas Buhn was his name, but crushed to death they're all the same.

But if I recall correctly, Paran says that the Tiste Edur was killed by one of his kin. Mael's not a Tiste Edur.

Does it matter what Paran says? He just says what he thinks doesn't mean he has to be right. All Paran knew a giant boar had killed him, he just took a guess nothing more.

It was implied that Paran's knowledge was more than just a guess. He believes that it was another Tiste Edur for no reason at all that he can think of, and QB believes him. Something to do with his powers as MotD, I would guess.
Also, Mael threw Theradas into his Warren. Why would Mael's Warren be in the real world?

Well, Mael sends him to dark depths of the sea, guy turns up, is crushed by great pressure. Convergence, crossing storylines, copyright SE (well no, but it sounds cool)...no coincidence.

Paran tosses out a guess on instinct but it doesnt make it right. It fits with what Mael did. It makes sense his warren could open up into the deep dark parts of the oceans and such. I'd side with it being the one Mael grew dissatisfied with
