Kruppe? God knows (whoops).
Personally speaking, he seems far beyond all aspects of ascendant, mortal sword, priest, or destriant.
There are so many separate aspects to Kruppe that align him with everyone and no one that I have to wonder if he is completely unique to the worlds. Much of the mystery of the series revolves around the unveiling of his strengths, weaknesses, and subtlety.

Thats what I am thinking too, about Kruppe. But now we have gone two books straight, with little or hardly nothing at all about Kruppe or from Kruppe in it. I sure do hope that Kruppe shows up and plays an important role in book 7. I like him, he is one of my favorite characters.
