Read two Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson books back to back: FROST BURNED and NIGHT BROKEN, and while both were solidly good, NIGHT BROKEN was better overall. This series took me a long time to get to enjoying it at the same level as I do DRESDEN or KATE DANIELS, but it's there now so I'll definitely be continuing.
Starting (local Canadian author) SHEN TAO's debut THE POET EMPRESS tonight. I'm excited for more Chinese-themed fantasy!
