I had to read that three times before I realised that it said - "Shore"... I was thinking Rodeo was terribly daring to be telling everyone about his soft-porn perusal

Hmmm... I guess I'm still hungover Posted Image

Back on to Chasm City now, The Gunslinger was ok, but not the best. Won't be rushing back to the series, though I'm sure I'll read the next one eventually...

Just finished "The Humanoids" by Jack Williamson. Truly one of the most disturbing sci-fi novels I've ever read.

Now reading "Shogun" by James Clavell. Awesome book.

"A Secret Atlas" by Micheal Stackpole. His Dragoncrown War Cycle was great, great stuff.

Re-reading K.J. Parker's "Colours in the Steel."

And I also found "Heretic Kings" and "The Iron War" by Kearney on Amazon without Horrendously Painful Shipping Charges. (Grumbles) The store had book 1 one week, book 5 the next week, BUT HERETIC KINGS WAS OUT OF PRINT. I KEEL.

That Jonathon Norrell book sounds good. You'll have to tell us what you think when you're finished.

Finished Chasm city, what a great bookPosted Image

now reading "The Weavers of Saramyr", by Chris Wooding. This is a quality bookPosted Image not as good as Erikson, I'd say on or just below Martin's level, but Eastern as opposed to Medieval, which makes it much better in my estimationPosted Image
