can you give me some examples (maybe per pm) therefore? I already haven't read Midnight Tides - is there written more about the ascended Bridgeburners or may I häve overlooked something in the books before?

the only characters in MT that are from previous books are; Trull Sengar (almost main character), The Crippled God (in the Background), Gothos (very very Brief) and thats It I think.
It is set on an entirelly different continent.
No bridgeburners and no Karsa.

I have no idea where BAD gets the idea of "Bridgeburnders do their own housecleaning."

You will all be taking that back. Prepare to get owned, non-believers.

*takes it back humbly and sincerely* :D

What does it mean though? The way I read it is the whole thing of killing their own Captains etc. Am I on the right tracks do you think?

It was said after they were discussing if Laseen was killing off all the Old Guard, those loyal to the old Emporer and his ideals etc. ie they weren't sure if Sorry was a claw (under a guise aided either by Tayschrenn and/or Laseen), sent to get them nailed, all the suicide missions and yes the crud captains they have been getting. Which get "offed". They will "do their own house-cleaning" I think pertained to the Bridgeburners always sorting their own **** (the Sorry and Captain business and also the deeper plot of "somone" wanting to kill them all off) out because they have been through so much together they don't trust anyone else to do it especially in the Empire's current status.
