[Gust Hubb]

Since I am consuming books currently like there is no tomorrow (and will there be? shrug), I wanted to see if anyone else has been flummoxed by these authors and their series while secretly hoping someone has news when the next book will be released.

I think the classic example is George RR Martin and his GOT series.

But on my bucket list are the following:
1. The Sun Chronicles, Kate Elliot
2. The Locked Tomb, Tamsyn Muir
3. The Wanderlands, Benjamin Liar
4. The Dark Star triology, Marlon James
I would recommend any of these, if any were actually finished...

[Abyss]

Locked Tomb is the only one i've read, last book was 2022. I'm not sure the series fits in this list yet but there's certainly reason to fear it will. The author was steady thru books 1-3 and she was pretty clear 3 was an unplanned extension of the story. I wonder whether the decision to add that threw off the rest of the plan. She's been fairly silent about timing and progress afaik.
