Oooh, that Richardson pick by tapper. Little early for him but should be a game or tell where he’s with it.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Heh, second time Stalker takes my intended pick - first time was Pollard :) great minds and all that…

Hah, sorry. I always hate when that happens. Had to take a shot on Pollard after he became the true #1 in Dallas. For Hock, I figured he wouldn’t be available after your picks.

Yeah, would have preferred to wait a little longer, but… QBs were flying off the board and I don’t think any other QB left has his massive potential.

Why am I just now realizing we run 4 WRs? What kinda league is this?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

An 8 team league.

We used to run normal lineups, then we got down to 8.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Cheers - I was somehow thinking we did 14 only. Pick is made.

As an Auburn fan, throwing away my last pick to support both Carlson brothers. Good draft everyone!

Whoever is now the Commish, please enter our draft in the league. I am in eager anticipation of viewing my C- draft grade!

Twelve got the best grade from Yahoo. Teams are loaded. Everyone please check to make sure that I didn't mess anything up. I don't know why the Waivers are how they are. I set the correct draft order. It did the same thing last year.

Here are the Fantasy Foot Ball Guys team draft rankings

Tapper :

our grade:

B

"sophomore breakouts are a thing, right?"
You've put together a very interesting team here. Our numbers show it as being below average at all three core positions (QB, RB, and WR). And yet, somehow, we don't hate it. With proper care and feeding throughout the season, this team should be in the thick of things.

But your margin for error is probably slimmer than that of your fellow contenders. You're going to have to be diligent in your search for help through trades and the waiver wire.

Players we particularly like on this team include Jahan Dotson, Evan McPherson, and the Eagles defense. We have all these guys ranked ahead of where they're typically being drafted.

With great inseason management, we think you have about a 90 percent chance of making the playoffs. Our Matchup and Waiver Wire tools at Footballguys.com would be a great place to start!

With good inseason management, we think you have about a 80 percent chance of making the playoffs.

With average inseason management, we think you have a 71 percent chance of making the playoffs.

Quarterbacks
Jalen Hurts
Jalen
Hurts
PHI
Anthony Richardson
Anthony
Richardson
IND
Jalen Hurts is clearly a great anchor in a start-two-QB league. We have him ranked 3rd among quarterbacks and estimate him at about 1.88 points per game better than an average QB1 in this league.

We're not crazy about Anthony Richardson as a second quarterback. Adding some depth here is crucial.

A quick note about the Hurts/DeVonta Smith hookup you've got here: while we think the effect of the quarterback/receiver hookup has largely been exaggerated in fantasy football circles, it does have a tendency to make your team somewhat more inconsistent than comparable scoring duos from different NFL teams. But if you like the players at both ends of the connection, we do not see any need to make a change because of it.

Note that the above "thoughts" were generated by our consensus projections. Others have different takes:

Some members of our staff have Anthony Richardson ranked as high as 9th, which would make him an above average 2nd Quarterback. Sigmund Bloom defends his high ranking as follows: "

Upside: Rushing boost, Shane Stechien's track record with Jalen Hurts

Downside: Will be a work in progress, could struggle mightily with leap to facing NFL defenses, might not start Week 1

"
Running Backs
Saquon Barkley

Barkley
NYG
Najee Harris

Harris
PIT
Kenneth Walker III
Kenneth
Walker III
SEA
Jaylen Warren
Jaylen
Warren
PIT
We like Saquon Barkley as a 1st RB, but we consider your starting Running Backs, as a group, to be a little below par. Our projections have Barkley ranked at #7 and Najee Harris ranked 12th.

Kenneth Walker III should be a good 3rd Running Back; he's a likely flex starter. But we are not at all excited about Jaylen Warren as a 4th RB.

Wide Receivers
Cooper Kupp
Cooper

DeVonta Smith

DeAndre Hopkins

TEN
Jahan Dotson

George Pickens

PIT
Michael Thomas
Michael

NO
Skyy Moore
Skyy

KC
We like Cooper Kupp as a 1st WR, but we consider your starting Wide Receivers, as a group, to be a little below par. Kupp is our 7th ranked WR, DeVonta Smith is #16, DeAndre Hopkins is #23, and we have Jahan Dotson 30th.

George Pickens should be a good 5th Wide Receiver. Michael Thomas should also be solidly above average at WR6.

Skyy Moore is an excellent depth pick.

Note that the above "thoughts" were generated by our consensus projections. Others have different takes:

Some of our staffers have DeVonta Smith as high as #12, which would make him an above average 2nd Wide Receiver. Ben Cummins's take: "

A.J. Brown last year:

Targets per game: 8.5, Receptions per game: 5.2, Receiving yards per game: 88

DeVonta Smith last year:

Targets per game: 8.0, Receptions per game: 5.6, Receiving yards per game: 70.4

Smith isn't too far behind Brown, who rightfully goes in the first round. Smith is an awesome talent who is valued even higher by the market than by me.

"
Tight Ends
Darren Waller
Darren
Waller
NYG
Darren Waller is our #5 TE, so he'll do, but this position may be a sore spot for you this season.

Kickers
Evan McPherson
Evan
McPherson
CIN
We don't think Evan McPherson is starter quality in this league. Keep a sharp eye on the waiver wire.

Team DEF/STs
Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia
Eagles
PHI
We think the Philadelphia Eagles are the #1 defense in the league, at about 0.75 points per game above average.
