Full disclosure, if I got another SftT, I would then play Imperial secondary and hope against hope I got an achievable action phase SO, thus swiping the victory from under ITT.

Well, IH has done nothing to me this whole game, so I don't even feel vindictive toward him. Oh, except for that Sabotage of my Political Rider, that was pretty irritating.

Was that more irritating than Twelve constantly hassling me over MR? I mean, it did kinda cost me my last real chance at victory. Hmm.

IH has played a very good game, but also got pretty lucky with some of those action cards and objective draws. Is that irritating enough?

Realistically, we should never have let IH dig in the way he did. It's clear now that the Argent Flight need to be boxed in and prevented from expanding too much as quickly as possible in future games.

You mean you didn't already realize Argent was the best early expansion faction in the game when IH took 4 different systems in the first round?

You mean you didn't already realize Argent was the best early expansion faction in the game when IH took 4 different systems in the first round?

It was less about the expansioning and more about the holding later - I was able to take a few systems a Empyrean, but holding them whenever someone else has decided to take them (i.e. Khell taking back Bakal) has been another thing altogether whereas we've done just about everything we can as a table to prevent IH from being able to score the 2VP PO, and we've honestly barely made a ding in his overall armor.
