So as well as taking 5 influence off IH (if not 8), we'd have to take off 8 influence from Twelve (MR and Rigel II, say), or his homeworld.

Looking at it, I think Arnor/Lor is a no-go. Not only is anyone incapable of taking it, but we actually kinda need that fleet to be there to take Twelve's homeworld if need be.
So that leaves Mirage, Atlas, Loki/Abaddon/Ashtroth. Mirage and Atlas can be taken by a number of players, but the last is pretty tricky for anyone to take, not just because of the 7(?) PDS shots (and that's assuming Atlas is taken beforehand), but because it's hard to get to.

I know you're going to say 'no', Tatts, but I do think you're the best placed to do this. Not only do you have a large fleet, but you have fighters as well to soak up some of the flak (and the cancel a hit agent), something which most others don't (aside from me, but I can't get to Loki/A/A with any kind of big force). More importantly, what you have is Minister of War. Which means you can take Atlas, and on your next go move to Loki/A/A.
Morgoth has Warfare and a large force too, and he could move through the beta wormhole. However, it would take him three turns to accomplish the same, by which time it will be too late.

And why would I take Twelve's homeworld?

What if, in compensation for losing a VP, Morgoth activates one of my systems, gives me back the SftT, and I give it to Tatts. That also makes sure Morgoth pays for the fact that he's currently contributing zero to stopping the victory of another despite the large force he has?

So that's my current wonder plan:
Step 1: Twelve takes Mirage.
Step 2: Tatts takes Atlas.
Step 3: Khell plays Politics.
Step 4: Blend...blends (he's contributing the Aether abilities to all this anyway).
Step 5: Morgoth activates (peacefully!) one of my systems, hands back SftT.
Step 6: IH takes Winnu.
Step 7: Twelve plays Leadership.
Step 8: Tatts takes my SftT, activates Minister of War, takes Loki/A/A.
Easy! Everyone's sure to agree as well!

You are really contributing a lot to this flawless plan Khell, though according to this plan Tatts wins?

No, after this plan Tatts becomes the new favourite to win, and then we work out how to stop that. I mean, there's already 8 steps, let's get through those before coming up with more!

Also, I spent like a good 15 minutes trying to work out how I could take Loki/A/A, but unless someone works out how at least some of my Ba'kal ships can get over there, it feels futile.

I can get to about a 20% likelihood of winning in Loki for myself, so unless I get some amazing win-immediately action cards...

You can get that high? How do you even get more than one ship there? You are on the other side of the map!
Oh aetherstream shenanigans probably

Yeah, there's not much I can contribute this round other than my Aether abilities, unfortunately. If I see an opening, I'll be sure to take advantage of it, though.

Frankly, I feel like Tatts has done a good job this game and wouldn't mind seeing him be the first one to win a game other than you and Morgoth.

I may be able to throw some ships at Loki/Abadon/Ashtroth, either to soften up what's there, potentially to take a planet or two.

You can? That would certainly give us more options. Only Loki needs to be taken.
Also, if anyone has any kind of 'exhaust a planet' action card, now would be the time to step forward!

I have Tactical Bombardment. If I can get my Dread there and have it survive the space combat, I can use my second action to exhaust all the planets in that system. Problem is I'm not 100% certain I can move enough ships there to survive the space combat, it's pretty well defended and IH has 6PDS in range, so that's like 10+ PDS shots I'd have to worry about too.

Basically, for me to do anything about that system, I'd need some better action cards. It was what I was hoping for from the Frontier explore.
Any chance you can move your Destroyer out from the Alpha Wormhole so I can take another stab at getting the action cards from the Frontier explore?
