Alright everyone, let’s put our noggins together and plan Twelve’s move for him. That way, if Twelve wins, it’ll be like we all win!
Or at least it will extend the game one more turn.

Don't forget to plan how you are going to stop twelve (currently guaranteed to win via the CT PO if he plays leadership with his current number of planets)
Tatts (guaranteed to win with the secret objective PO or mighty fleet), khell (will win with leadership if he retains his planets and passes this turn, or has a SO he can score and could possibly score) and blend (can win if he scores an SO, has enough CT to get the CT PO), and morgoth (can win via SO and the CT PO).
Lot's of people to stop!

I am intrigued to see all your cunning plans.
I don't see how anyone stops tatts scoring, unless morgoth can somehow remove the diplomacy CT and get a big enough fleet over to tatts homeworld (I can't see that working)
Twelve is also very hard to stop with the three mechs on his homeworld, he'd need to lose 8 influence worth of planets or his homesystem which seems unlikely.

I was really hoping you and Twelve would engage in mutually assured destruction - that and Tatts forgetting to score were my main hopes this round.

Hah! If tatts didn't play diplomacy first round you would have had a chance at taking his homeworld but sadly not to be.

At least there’s only a limited amount of things Tatts can do to score. And if he focuses on that and refuses to get involved in trying to stop either you or Twelve then he loses anyway.

Morgoth’s Warfare is the interesting one: MR maybe. Or he could make incursions in your territories.

And I keep forgetting that Tatts has Minister of War. Surely that has to be used on a stop someone else type move now.

Well hopefully Twelve comes back to post a revised action before he heads off to the mountains...

Aye, the minister of war is the biggest issue on the table I think.

Alrighty, I'm spending some time now having a look at Twelve's possible moves. First to work out what's actually on the board.

First question: IH built on Ashtroth on his last turn, which has a production value of 4, yet he built 6 units? What mistake have I made there?

Guess we'll be waiting 'til Monday for Twelve after all. I have no provisional. See ya guys Monday!

Second question: Am I correct in saying that if Twelve performs a tactical action, then he cannot fulfil the CT PO even if no planets are taken off him as he will need 18 influence for 6 tokens (he will have zero if he performs a tactical action this turn), as he currently has 16 influence?

I think we have to hope that IH's action card is not a stall card, because otherwise we would have to take 8 influence off him, which doesn't seem all that possible.
If we assume it's not a stall, then we need to take 5 influence off over the next two turns (assuming Twelve plays Leadership on the go after this one).
Mirage seems to be the easiest, most obvious target, that's 2 influence. After that it's more tricky, as his influence planets are all pretty spread out. Arnor/Lor is the preferred target (3 influence), but is also the most heavily defended. If not Arnor/Lor, then the Atlas system (1 influence) and Loki/Abaddon/Ashtroth (2 influence, and also well defended) would both have to be taken.

He gains 3 CT from leadership, so no he can fulfil it

That's one of those 'subtle, rarely used' rules that are easy to forget about.
