Sorry, I just couldn't be sure. I did consider asking, but then didn't know if I could trust what you'd say! Small consolation: originally I was just going to march in this turn without even using the Hero. This way you can still move out the non-fighters.

Eh, it's the strength of the Empyrean, I think, to fuck with people's games, draw it out as long as possible to make it possible for me to snag a win.

I don't know that I warrant being compared to Gnaw - that guy just didn't really understand how to work WITH people. I've mostly worked with you all at various points through the game. Yes I've fucked Khell's game, and then Tatts' game, and will likely still end up fucking other folks' games too before this is done, but that's how Empyrean works, I think. I don't see any way to pull off a win otherwise.

Stellar Converter was the right choice. You yourself took away the main option by taking Minister of War. If SC wasn't brought up as an option then I would have had to use my Hero in the hopes that someone could capitalise, but that was much less a certainty than SC.

Morgoth and IH have got in the fewest squabbles so it's perhaps unsurprising that they're both now probably ready to pounce on the points. At least Morghy took out one of those War Suns - that fight made both of them slightly more exposed next round. Slightly.

Why would they? I’ve taken no systems particularly tempting to anyone else, and until now I’ve been tied for last in points. When you are the point leader, or the person seen to be at the front, you will get the most attention. That is the way of any game, and is certainly how we’ve played all of ours here on the forum.
