It's going to be a weird year or two.

I wouldn't be surprised if we hear very little about big projects this summer and no confirmed launch windows.

Could be a great year for all the small studios and the kinds of games who would be overshadowed otherwise. Like Outriders.

I have 0 interest in "Hood", b/c it's a multi-player heist game, but I'm wondering how that'll do for them, if it's gonna get the same type of crowd and numbers as "Hunt: Showdown" did for Crytek.

Bamco announced release date for "Tales of Arise" as Sept 9th. Earlier they confirmed "Scarlet Nexus" is releasing in June.

Unless they're gonna go for an end-of-year rush play, I think there's a pretty safe bet "Elden Ring" ain't coming this year.

Battlefield V one of the PlayStation Plus games for May. Never have played any of the Battlefield games so was considering grabbing it to check it out and see what the rave has been over the course of this series. I know there has been some fervent appreciation for some of the early titles. But dang, it's like 130+ GB download size. Any experience here with this series. Is it worth it?

Add another game to the 2021 anticipation list. Dying Light 2 has a December 7th release date.

What are the odds it gets delayed? Based on the presentation yesterday it looked like they were in the spit and polish stage, so *fingers-crossed* 12/7 is going to happen.

PS+ games for July includes A Plague Tale: Innocence. PS+ is back in form with offering some quality titles in their monthly free games.

I remembered today that Rogue Legacy 2 probably comes out of Early Access this year. That's probably my most anticipated release of 2021. I gorged myself on the first game.

Also I bought Satisfactory during the Steam sale. Supposedly the game won't be ready before 2022 but it already looks so good.

huh, was watching a video of games coming second half of 2021. I didn't realize Deathloop is scheduled to drop on Sept. 14.

Sony is doing a Deathloop & Indies/3rd party State of Play on Thur.

At this point they've got Kena in Aug and Deathloop in Sept as their 2 "big" games to market.

I'm getting a feeling Forbidden West won't make 2021.

What's the latest on "The Gunk"? Is that scheduled for 2021?

Cool, I was not aware it was due out that soon. I'll be keeping an eye out for the aggregate reviews it gets at release.

[UPDATE] Aw man, I bing'd and see it is Xbox/PC only. I hope they come with a PlayStation version eventually. Probably a year or more later though.... boooooo!

huh, well that sucks. It's not out of the realm of possibility that I will get a Xbox triple X Series X to the Xtreme (eventually). So there is hope.

Stray (aka, the cat game) delayed to early 2022, but gameplay trailer looking pretty neat

Outer Wilds getting an expansion in September, and coming to the Switch "this holiday season"

Solar Ash (the new game from Hyper Light Drifter devs) hitting PlayStation and Epic Store late October.

Annapurna had a decent showcase today. I think that's the last major event until GamesCom.
