Since I'm on the second bottle of champaigne after ringing in the Ukrainian New Year (one with immediate family, second time around on a Skype call with my cousin), I wanna

wish all Malazites, wherever they be, a healthy and happy 2021. Leave all the (many) negatives of 2020 behind, party like there's no tomorrow with who's around you, remember only the good, and start 2021 from a clean slate.

Before going out to celebrate 2020, I broke my futon while vacuuming.

5 and a half hours to go, Opened a second champaign bottle while talking to my cousin, polished it offafter call ing my aunt in Spain after their midnight.

Ribs in 2 hours (ish). I predict a monstrous hangover tomorrow, after I inevitably switch to rum. But that's okay, cuz this year deserves to end in an alcoholic haze.

I can't do white rum. It's Kraken or nothing.

Haven't switched to rum yet, but on 3rd bottle of Spanish Red, with another campaign bottle for midnight.

Ya I found some weird spanish rum in the back of the closet. No idea where it came from, but it's working semi-well so far.

Been a long year.. but good job on surviving it!

Got work today so didn't overdo anything last night. Here's to making it through 2020.2...
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Well I was in bed by half past 10 last night and had a grand total of one (1) beer before that time.

Here's hoping 2021 is kinder and more peaceful than 2020 was.

Honestly 2020 wasn't too bad for me, I know it was a shitshow for most everyone else but there it is.
