Denier A throwback to midnight tides

Trull, a Tiste Edur, is referred to several times as Denier by Lilac, the demon he saves and has attached to him during the conquest of Lether.

The Deniers are quite likely, along with The Shake (who are also Deniers) who will become the Tiste Edur.

Coincidence? Significant? If it truly is a small piece of foreshadowing then I must say it's mightily impressive.

Any thoughts?

That's a cool observation.
It starts with Lilac calling a "Denier of Mercy", and then consistently calling him "Denier".
