Lose Command?

Hey guys. In Book #3 there's a part where Trotts fights against a young Barghast in a duel and wins. Afterwards some stuff happens and Paran goes into the command tent of Humbrall Taur, the leader of Barghast clans. During their conversation Taur says, "You have lost your command, Captain."

What does he mean by "lose command?" Paran is still a captain. He is still in charge of Bridgeburners. Does Taur mean Paran lost the respect of his men?

I believe this is referring to Trotts becoming the warleader or something like that of the Bridgeburners.

To the Barghast the Bridgeburners are now also one of their clans. And Trotts is their warleader. So from their point of view Paran lost command. Even if he is still in charge
