While I love FF. I am a little hesitant to play this year. Purely from a football standpoint. If a player gets covid they are out for 3 weeks minimum. Say half a team has it and can't play, there game is forfeit. No points for either team.

With all of this I wanted to gage everyone interest in playing this year.

I'd rather not just cancel it all together, but with the cluster its going to be that might be best.

You know how on like Fan Duel you have a certain amount to spend on available players every week? Is there a way they do that for fantasy football and we keep track of points every week?

I'm not part of this, but we're doing our PL fantasy regardless, the risks of players being forced into Quarn just add a bit more luck into it.

Problem is the NFL just cancelled all pre-season games, the MLB might be done for the year, and the cases in America just keep rising due to morons. The outlook in Europe and the US is very different.

The Pats now have 6 starters opting out. I expect to see this more and more. If you are a vet and have been relatively smart with your money than why chance it.

Yeah, the opt out is gaining momentum.

The doctor, who is Canadian and is a lineman for the Chiefs, I think. He has opted out.. Saw a Real Sports HBO about him. He's an awesome human being.

As far as I see (unless my counting skills are totally gone) that there is only 4 people who have replied to this thread. If we wanted to do a draft we would need at a minimum of 8.

I agree that covid makes this much more difficult. If we have a way to do this successfully, I’d be up for trying it. If we want to cancel this season, that’s fine too.

I'm not playing. I was just interjecting about the trend of players opting out of this season (which is still happening - see Broncos).

Apologies if this ruins the math required to get this thing rolling, I'm sure someone else will join. Bigger picture though, are we even confident this season is going to happen? And if it does, how long before there are wholesale postponements / cancellations of games?
