I missed you all. I've been sans internet, phone, and t.v. for the past 7 months trying to get my life somewhere back to normal. Hopefully I was missed a little bit. I know I missed talking to you all!

Oh, and if an Admin can please change my user thingamabobber that'd be appreciated. Kinda need to stop reveling in that like I did being the drunk I was.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Worked and studied the Bible in the middle of nowhere.

It was a distraction free zone (hence no t.v., internet, phone, etc.).

As to what happened? Whatever has been going on in the world. For me? Nothing and everything. I had lost the big picture, if I ever had it, and found it (or regained it).

So if you start cussing and drinking again it’s our fault right?

Glad you are back! Sometimes we just need to take some time to focus.

In a sense. I nearly drank myself to death. I had about 3 months to live my doctor said if I hadn't come in. Had to go to the ER and was going weekly to a doctor and biweekly to the hospital.

But, the "program" I was in was very Bible focused to get me to deal with alcoholism. I was a mental and physical wreck. No joke.

But, now I am back and sober and will remain so. If I drink I die, so the "Kings of Drink" group tag had to go. It was the king; not me. I lost big time, lol.

Yay! Just in time to not really be able to do anything as well!

big respect for your steps to sort this out.

I'll be honest, of the forums drinkers I didn't think/know you were "that bad" if you get me.

Huge respect for your lifestyle changes and recovery. Keep on the wagon my friend!
