2 roles then there must be a symp, otherwise I don't know how that works with 10 players. Gamelon needs to be lynched imo.

I think we got all the votes necessary. Didn't we?

I don't think so PG. Having majority in town so quickly seems overkill. I am useless until endgame. And frankly, you almost got yourself killed (and probably will tonight) by revealing so early.

Yeah OK I see what happened I think. Let's hope the fallout from this is recoverable. Numbers question is hard - balance may be evened out another way...

I'm not sure I believe that in a game this size. And the timing is weird, I mean, if you're surprised to be alive then why not reveal earlier to try and save yourself?

Because revealing changes the game dynamic and suddenly it becomes "lynch the revealer", which is fine in a larger game. In this game, we only have 10 people, so unless we have consensus on who is scum, it becomes a clusterfuck of wifom and testing reveals. I figured I would do more harm than good, and was happy to be lynched as long as people went back to examine what I said once it was clear who I was.

This makes total sense, not sure why Gait disagrees. Why would Shel reveal if he can't use actions? Unless there is more I missed then Shel is very right about the game dynamic.

I could see that in normal circumstances but much less so when you think you're going to get lynched anyway. Especially when the person pushing you is the other person who has revealed.

To try and avoid being lynched if he's town?

Surely that's quite obvious, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Not obvious. I figured my arguments at that point in the game would have stood up better of I was lynched and proven to be town (no question of being a symp when you are roled town) and until one of the scum were killed, I was essentially useless alive. So I made my case and hoped my death would break the typical "cannot lynch someone for being good town" mantra that I always hear.

I said I’d be posting more rarely, not that I’d be gone. So Shel does reveal...great. 8 town, 2 roles? Mayyyybe. If, as Shel says, one of them is pointless until a scum dies. Gonna have to think on it.
May I also point out that were it not for me refusing to vote Shelly they’d be easily lynched right now?
Speaking of, did you guys get a lynch?

Plus scum are in a serious bind now. If they kill me, I am revealed as guard. If they get PG, he is revealed healer. And either death lends more credence to whichever roled survives. In the meantime, we can begin narrowing it down as to who is killer by knowing who the roled target (only after the fact). I am not giving scum guidance before the night. If healer and guard do not prevent a kill, we have more information.

Yes, we got the lynch. And I put in a provisional guard.

I'm struggling to see a town player choosing sacrifice one of our few lynches on the hope that people decide that you must have been right because you're town. Given the size of the game it's so unlikely the symp question would even come up, as you've even said, but that was part of your thinking? And then instead you reveal now. Urgh.
