I cried. Quite a bit at one point.

Although my prediction from back up thread turned out to be correct. Which might have factored in the crying.

Didn't he have a frozen fish stand-in or something in the books? I was a bit disappointed they didn't bring that in, it definitely could have made it even creepier. But I still loved it either way.

Yep. If I remember rightly Lyra loses it at a couple of gyptians for burning the fish because it was all he had.

That was just... flawless. What an episode. I can't quite believe what an amazing job they're doing with this.

Two episodes left, and I want the rest, however many seasons it takes, lined up to watch continuously. I really hope we dont have to wait like a year or something.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

40 mins 7 secs in. Getting more interesting. Jogging a bit of movie info loose in my head. Some nifty visuals hitting screen now.

Finished Ep 1 which is much more enjoyable then the entirety of the Kidman movie from what little I recall of it. However I was really meh on it overall. I will continue to watch but after that Im in no must binge mood I was hoping for once I started.

I do like Ruth much more then Nicole so that is a plus

Still can't fault it. (Maybe a little explanation of how Lyra survived falling from the sky and landing on rocks, but hey!)

I just want to hear 'season two is all ready to go, it will be out in March.'

Was about to turn Ep 2 off out of sheer boredom but then it just snaps around.

Going into 3 straight away.

Loved the last episode. It was as heart-wrenching as expected. The kids do such a phenomenal job.

Also, confirmed over the credits that it's back next year! Posted Image

Agreed, what a stupendous show, easily one of the best of the year. I simultaneously hope that S2 comes very soon but that they don't rush it.
