What were your favorite films and TV shows this year? Doesn't have to be exclusive to stuff released in 2018. Doesn't have to be a top 10 list. Just share what you enjoyed this year and what stands out.

I mostly watch YouTube now a days so I have no horse in this race.

The Good Place.
"Fortune favors the bold, though statistics favor the cautious." - Indomitable Courteous (Icy) Fist, The Palace Job - Patrick Weekes

"Well well well ... if it ain't The Invisible C**t." - Billy Butcher, The Boys

"I have strong views about not tempting providence and, as a wise man once said, the difference between luck and a wheelbarrow is, luck doesn’t work if you push it." - Colonel Orhan, Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City - KJ Parker

The most recent series of The Last Kingdom, without a shadow of a doubt, in so far as TV goes.

Films..... difficult as I haven't watched that much new stuff. Infinity War probably wins for pure spectacle.

For some reason, I started watching/rewatching a bunch of Kitchen Nightmares/Hotel Hell/24 Hours to Hell this summer/fall/winter, and that lead me to the wonderful 3-part miniseries Gordon, Fred, and Gino's Roadtrip, which was my favourite reality tv of the year. It's kinda like those travel segments in Top Gear but with chefs.

My all-time favourite TV this year though has to go to A Place Further Than The Universe.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

I made a top ten movie list for another site, so I'll just post that here. These are just 2018 movies. As usual, lots I didn't see. I should probably create a Letterboxd account to keep track of this stuff.

1. Eighth Grade
2. Hereditary
3. Paddington 2 (in the US it was January 2018)
4. Revenge
5. Crazy Rich Asians
6. Black Panther
7. Sorry to Bother You
8. Infinity War
9. Annihilation
10. To All the Boys I've Loved Before
Next five would probably be: Isle of Dogs, A Quiet Place, Never Goin' Back, Tully, Incredibles 2
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Channel Zero: The Dreaming Door
Bojack Horseman
Maniac
Andre the Giant (HBO doc)
The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling
One Day At A TimeGlow

Insecure
Black-ish
Fresh off the Boat
Brooklyn 99
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Last Man On Earth
