After a long time away this is quite a three to come back to. Thanks to all the artists for some brilliant interpretations. I am on the umpteenth reread of the series (just into the Chain of Dogs) so it is so good to see how everyone has been inspired.

Yesterday we had a fantastic empress of the Malazan Empire by Harkale and today not a reunion, but a great image of a first meeting by Autumn Tavern. Thanks to both :)

Hey, I'll say it if no one else will: this year's advent calendar has featured some pretty great art!

Well I didn't get this World's Bravest Boy sticker for nothin! (I got it for sitting real still and only crying a little at the barber.)

With todays image we have completed the first half of the calendar. What were your favourites until now? ;)

Laseen!*

*I'm not counting AT's contributions since I knew them before they went live and also for the obvious reasons of being biased.

Unfair question as there are many which I would love to see on my wall. But if I am only allowed to choose one, then I am joining the chorus of Laseen. That portrait has an amazing presence! Though for the Turner price, my money would be on Puck's image of Kilmandaros.

Just as well you did not ask today though - it would have taken me even longer to decide!!!

My faves are the two takes on Kilmandaros (Puck & CN's).
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

After new takes on Kilmandaros and Rake in Dragnipur, Kinslaying and a Tiste Reunion, all amazing images, we had today the return of Itwaes Nom to the calendar with a Dal Honese God. Welcome back ;)
