There's around 10 hours until the XO event begins. Never seen it before but one assumed it's just like Sony's PlayStation events from prior years.

I wonder how much content they'll really have.

I'd love some info about the new studios they bought and what they're working on.

Maybe a Fable 4 teaser.

Hopefully some proper Crackdown 3 gameplay that convinced us that this was worth the wait.

Crackdown 3 will be there. Playground's secret open world game will NOT be there. Halo infinite will NOT be there (according to studio statements)

Unlikely they'll announce Obsidian acquisition since apparently that deal hasn't moved much from the time it was first leaked (when it was supposedly "90% done")

Expect content updated on Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, Forza Horizon 4; a "Big PUBG announcement", and also Shadow of the Tomb Raider's gonna show off its DLC.

We may possibly see what Ninja Theory's been working on, as it was 2 years since they finished Hellblade.

If I were to guess, release dates for Ashen, Ori, maybe Gears.

Hopefully Battletoads footage.

Watching it now.

I really dislike the Crackdown footage. The sorta cell shaded look combined with all the neon makes everything look blurry and washed out. Like it's last generation.

Why don't they show some proper story footage? Is it as bad as I might fear?

Hopefully the orb collecting will still be fun.

Agreed that the look isn't great but the gameplay tends to be mindless fun. There have been rumors of trouble with this game, and considering the multiple delays, it wouldn't surprise me if the rumors are true. Not going to buy it, but will absolutely try it with gamespass.

I don't understand what Kingdom Hearts is. It just seems like nonsense.

missed the first hour. But it sounds like the only things I missed are a new Crackdown 3 and Just Cause 4 trailers?

Now they're onto Minecraft. I'm guessing if there'll be anything new it'll be in the very end., so I should just tune back in in 30 min or so?

There were some segments on sea of thieves, kingdom hearts, state of decay. Might have missed a few due to stream issues.

ooh, pathologic 2 is releasing in December? I really have not been keeping up with those Kickstarter updates.

edit: We are getting a lot of "stay tuned for the Game Awards" type messages... but not a lot of content.

Editagain: wait, did they give a release date for the new Ori game?

The acquisition of Inexile and Obsidian are strange choices. I wonder if they are specifically meant to make games that will cater to the PC audience.

Divinity: OS is doing pretty good on consoles. so InXile could be filling that niche.

While Obsidian will probably get tasked with a 3D RPG like they were making last gen, as opposed to the isometric stuff they've been doing more recently.

It's over I half fell asleep during the last half. Nothing that really wowed me. Nice enough event for fans I guess.
