Hi, so I just finished this one, and as other's say, the last part is brilliant (and while they also say most of the book before was boring, I found it really good, but anyway).
I was just wondering what I missed by reading about three chapters in one evening, because I seem to have lost track of Traveller along the way lol
So he fights Rake, and defeats him, and then gets all emotional, leaning against a wall, comforted by Dev a little, and then .... ?

As I was reading the final chapters, the characters all seem to get some kind of conclusion, and I began to look out for parts about what happened to him, but then I got to the end and there was nothing.
I must have missed it! Can anybody help and give me a quick clue as to what happened to him from after he kills Rake?

Welcome!
He wanders out of Darujhistan lost and confused post fight, a bit before the very end. I think but don’t remember for certain Shadowthrone or Cotillion comment on it.
And I won’t say more than this: read the rest of the series, including ICE’s books.

Should the title be edited for safety?

Technically, up until book 8 we are lead to believe Dassem Ultor is dead.

And, just beyond Worrytown, ascending the first of the Gadrobi Hills, a lone swordsman paused and half turned a ravaged face to the fretful music of those bells, those birds, and whatever might have been there, in his eyes, well, there was no one too witness it.

And so he set his back to Darujhistan and resumed his journey. That he had nowhere to go, at least for the moment, was without relevance. Solitude finds its own path, for the one who will not share burdens. And loneliness is no fit companion for the eternally lost, but it is the only one they know.

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's only me, and I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the boulevard of broken dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one, and I walk alone

Dang, now that's writing!
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Thanks for the replies, and YES I did see that part that Nacht quoted, and I wondered who it could be, looked for clues, but I couldnt find anything that would actually identify him.
I'll try to edit the title to make it a bit less spoilery, sorry :no (Just trying to be specific in my topic, because it annoys the balls off me to have to go through a hundred generic 'question about book' titles lol)
