Hello my mezla fellows!

Yesterday i finished reading HoC, and the book was great hugely due to its end. I decided to start MT right away. I've gotta be honest, reading the prologue gave me goosebumps! i've heard that the book is set in a different continent and is presenting a whole different set of characters and might be a pain for some readers, but my hopes are high for this one.

I have a question for you nonetheless. i've read the first prologue scene and noticed something about Silchas Ruin, who is apparently from the andii folk and is brother to andarist and rake. he is described as being albino white, whilst the andii have been described as pitch-dark skinned race. Is there like a secret to this, an explanation for the skin color mutation? (though i dont think SE can write something with no reason, so i hope it's a RAFO)

Thanks!

MT is a good book in the end though it did take me some while to get into it due to the new places and characters (Certain characters in it became some of my favorites very soon after their introduction however).

As for the question, Silchas is simply an albino Tiste Andii :p

There is a significance to his skin color. Read and find out.

He spent too much time indoors as a child playing video games, not enough sunlight.
