Someone talk me through what Gnaw attempted here please.

He initially researched asteroid fields placed the alpha wormhole in the empty space north of your command ship and tried to bring in 3 cruisers to use assault cannons to blow up your command ship.
Then he switched to just attacking the destroyer but tried to place the wormhole in D'reks home world before switching to researching war suns and placing the wormhole where it's currently listed.

Though I can't say I really understand your move, Gnaw... you want to throw away your cruisers in a piss-poor attempt at attacking me, ok whatever. But you do so in such a way that you give me a new path to your hexes? Since you researched War Sun presumably you want to build one next round. But you're about to lose Everra, you're all but certain to swiftly lose Thibah or Arinam, and you've just given me both the method and the motive to easily take away Saudor, leaving you not enough resources to even build the war sun, let alone a decent escort for it. Seems like pure folly to me.

Though once I vaporize your cruisers, if you want to grovel and beg me to leave Saudor alone it may amuse me enough not to do so.
