Twelve had my Trade PN but didn't apply it when I refreshed my commodities. So I have 6 to trade.

I am waiting to see if he wants 4 Tg's this phase or wait until next phase for 5.

Your impression is correct. You offer stuff here in chat thread, you finalise it in game thread. An offer is not a finalisation, so shouldn't be in the game post.

I did not update my trade goods, I put the offer in the game thread, if accepted it completes on D'rek's turn. I also put an open ended offer of 4:4 trade.

To be fair only a select few respond to anything in the chat thread, I mean some of you are gone for days on end. Easier, for say Nom, reading up on actions/game thread to see a trade offer in the game thread than having to read multiple pages in the chatty thread.

Just don't put offers in the game thread. Just don't do it. It gets too confusing about who's actually accepted what, because your game post is then in a kind of limbo rather than being final. If you have to wait for someone to agree or disagree to a trade before posting your action, then just wait.
