Just going to point out that once next round starts he'll be able to build more ships as well and he's put himself into quite a strong position defensively. He'll only get stronger.

Let's break it down. Right now he has an army built but no resources to rebuild. So through a war of attrition he'd eventually lose but that means taking risks and inviting others to encroach on our territories. So it's decision time. Let him live, make his way to Mec Rex with that scary army or dwindle him down into pulp. D'rek/Tapper/Morgoth/IH/Nom are all benefiting from us engaging Twelve.

I do seem to remember saying that this course of action would sink both of our games all the way back in round 2. It's frustrating it's taken you both this long to figure it out.

Then you won't have to worry about rebuilding fleets and instead use them to try and win the game. Those 3 systems would have been naturally Winnu systems anyway and it keeps a reasonable distance between my home world and your ships. I would also like your ceasefire as additional assurance of you good intentions.

She said she was in the bush camping this past weekend, so she probably just hasn't had a chance to sit down and actually look at the game since getting back - I expect she'll be around later today at some point, but no promises!

I still am unsure how tatts and gnaw intend to actually win the game with this strategy. Or even compete. Tatts especially could easily have been challenging for the lead with his current setup.
