Hey all,

Three chapters into my re-read of GoTM and I am loving this book like you would not beleive (actually you all know EXACTLY how I feel). ALOT makes so much more sense the 2nd time around!

Memories of the series are coming back to me with various scenes. Give me more time to read!

Anyway, just a quick one......Tattersail has just done her reading of the Deck with Hairlock watching in puppet form

In a nutshell what is the point of the Deck? Does the card you "hold" on give you some kind of power or protection?

If it is explained down the storyline let me know and i wont ask again........i cant remember the proper reason for it

Cheers

I think there are at least two answers to your question (mild pan-series spoilers):
Spoiler

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

According to SE, the point of the Deck of Dragons is to f*ck with the expectations of readers.
