Ah! Right. 4th ed is quite a bit different, but I have to say I like the changes so far.

Tapper, will you be fine claiming the system late in the round? I'd prefer to use the planets for what they are worth, and you'll get them exhausted anyway.

I more or less assumed you would exhaust them. Ideally, I'd of course like to acquire Centauri-Gral before Diplomacy would be played, but I accept that may not be possible. I think I can aim to have at the least one Tactical and the Strategic before moving to C-G, and I can always try to aim to act later in the round than you do to give you an extra action to evacuate.

Khell, you and I haven't had as much early contact as I expected, but we're getting very close to each other now. From what I can tell we both have several options that do not include fighting each other, and to be honest I worry that you'll leave the University alone to tech into high heaven. They border the Hacan whom have no reason not to turtle at gore themselves on trade goods. In addition, Nico's movements places IH on the defensive, which means as of right now the two races that need time to dominate the map will be left alone.

No. He just wants to throw people at blend and my way so they can completely ignore the fact that he is almost as scary as Tapper militarily.

Well, yeah. We figure out a way to work together in order not to let the two races whom desperately want peace get that wish. I suggest establishing a running 1 TG for 1 TG deal when we border each other, which we will do soon. In addition I'd be willing to provide additional resources or trade a PN depending on what it is you want to accomplish in the following few rounds.

Khell and I already border each other now and benefit from a good trade relation.I've also provided an excellent bonus note to the good peoples of Sol that bring great prestige toward their bid for their galactic leadership goals.

That may be so. However, whereas you play as a race that struggles in the early game but dominates the late game, it seems more than a little risky to let you tech in peace. I have as of now the highest production of any of the races, and with every battle I grow stronger.

I'd rather not fight you Khell, I'd certainly struggle to do well this game if we do. To put it blunt it would likely prove catastrophic for me. But it would also drain you of your resources at a time when the other races will be free to claim the rich center of the galaxy.

Jolly cooperation is a much better option I find, and if we end up being in competition for the victory later on, well then at least we'll both be finishing at the top!

The wormhole wasn't my goal, as is probably clear from my current fleet movements. I want Khell and Twelve to fight, or at least I want twelve to feel insecure to the point where he needs to invest resources in a serious military build up. The University is by far the most dangerous faction if left alone, as I think you all should appreciate now with the amount of tech they already have. I just don't want a situation where I fall behind because I need to fight Khell, while the University and the Emirates pull ahead unopposed.
