I really want those upgraded fighters as doubling their hit % will probably be needed if I hope to beat you in a fight.

It's sick how I'm coming in with almost 2× the ships and 16x the fighters and you have to blow up a ship right out of the gate and I still have a strong chance of losing the fight if the first couple rounds of combat I can't get at least half the number of hits as you which is very possible.

So IH should want me to keep that card because if I fight you and lose you can them go on and take the tech planets in the area and gain the victory.
