If IH puts all his votes on FOR the Economic Sanctions agenda, and it seems like others will be voting on the other agenda instead, I'd be willing to help you Khell.

Cool, but it might not matter if Gnaw and Tapper are gonna be combining their votes.

Yeah, good point.

Well, if we just put 5 votes on FOR, we could potentially flip the vote on the second agenda. But of course that will depend on what Tapper actually does.

Question for D'rek - if we vote FOR on the Economic Sanctions agenda, does that mean our action card hand can never go higher than 3 cards for the rest of the game, or is it just for this round that we would have to discard down to 3, then we can draw up to 7 again?

Executive Sanctions is a LAW so if it is voted FOR the effect is persistent: the LAW gets added to the list of active laws and all players (except IH) have a maximum AC hand size of 3 as long as that law is active (there are some effects that can discard an active law). If the votes go AGAINST, the random discard is just a one-time effect though.

In contrast to LAWs, any DIRECTIVE which passes is just a one-time effect and then discarded.

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Thanks.

3 card max for hand of action cards is a bit less attractive for me.

I'm against the executive sanctions as I would rather Morgoth gained tech (not war suns) than a dread he can place anywhere. If not for that I would be for the law.

Edit place anywhere that would be bad for me.

I've not had more than 2 the entire gane except when I got 3 from a rider. I don't mind having 3 available

Considering you can now not vote on that agenda, he won't be able to get War Suns, cause he can only steal tech from someone who has voted on that Agenda.

I can only vote on the second agenda due to Twelve playing my PN.

I wouldn't mind Morgoth having WAR SUNS. How many votes are going on second agenda? I have 7 and don't care where it goes.

Lots going on in the agenda phase as usual.

Twelve can I cash in my marker from previously for your votes FOR the executive sanctions agenda. I'll either trade you back your PN if you want to give Nico 2tg or play it on an agenda you don't want to vote on.

Also point of order morgoth can only steal tech from people who vote Against if it ends up against.

Was going to cash in our deal for votes as well tatts but guess it's on hold for the next agenda phase.

If I can get some votes toward Sakulag I could put some toward FOR.

Or if the AGAINSTERS want to support my Sakulag bid, I can support them too.

I'm thinking of throwing votes to Lodd Eru if I do any voting on this agenda.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Remind me again when I offered votes from a previous trade. I remember doing it with Tapper but not you. I gave you my political secrets pn for votes and if you must can stop me from voting against and you will probably have to as I desperately want to prevent Morgoth from adding more ships to my area.

IH as a law I can get behind voting with you but the riders Morgoth played make it too much of a negative to vote that way. I already face steep odds as it is against him and if the rest if you don't move against him he is going to win.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

@Tatts and Twelve:

Your votes for Sakulag, along with Blend and me, would be enough to stop Tapper and Gnaw's votes.

Would you rather Tapper or I got 2 extra resources?

Twelve, you can't win it for Lodd Erunon your own, so there's be no point to that.

I mean, if he's thinking of going Lodd Eru, I'd put my votes there. I could definitely use the 2 extra resources, I'm sorta tapped out right now.

Sure, but also you and Twelve can't get it on your own, though I suppose Tatts would be happier to give his votes to you than to me.

You gave me your political PN as security for future votes because I didn't trust you not to pull out when I asked for your votes. Colour me unsurprised.

I’m extremely busy the next 4-5 hours. Going back home to Pa tonight and have to pack etc. Don’t have any time to deal and finagle.

Twelve, I’ll give you my ceasefire PN to throw all your votes AGAINST on that agenda.

Tapper, I’m putting all my votes on Mehar Xull.

Like I said remind me i.e. quote the agreement. In my mind right now the deal went down your votes for my pn. So unless you show me where I agreed to offer you votes in the future then I don't owe you anything.
