I did DM D'rek again to ask. Such a good ability for Hacan, he should of teamed up with you from the start, with your amount of AC's and him being bank it could have been like Nico's pillage ability.

There was nothing worthwhile left for me to do. If D'rek had played Diplomacy then I would probably have refreshed and built some more, but she didn't and so I couldn't.

Which is exactly why I didn't DIPLOMACY and WARFARE are really fun to hold onto as long as possible to mess up everyone's secondary timings

I'm pretty sure I've read about people making deals like that on the board game forums (like, give me that PN and you can enter my space and we won't initiate space combat, etc).

I guess it's more a house rules sort of thing if it's accepted, but this game has a lot of wacky deal-making wiggle room baked into it.

Any ability/thing that uses the word "may" is optional. If it says "must" or simply says you do this thing than it's not optional.

E.g. here's PDS fire:

In other words, no matter what you tell your infantry they aren't going to just sit on their butts and die, they'll reject your orders and shoot back!

They're pretty awesome. I am glad that I submitted detailed instructions to D'rek, and that Blend didn't key the action card on his flagship, but made it conditional to whether or not I still had fighters.

This is such a different map than the one at the start of the round!
