Twelve is giving a really good lesson in why PDSIIs shouldn’t be allowed to proliferate. They may be just a pain in the ass, but they can be very painful.

Yeah thanks for the pm heads up Gnaw. I've been eagerly awaiting what Morgoth is going to do with all those cruisers he has parked in his homeworld.

A fun SF book series I like has a scene where the crew of a spaceship are gambling on a game of monopoly. One of the players is just fucking around cause he’s a rich kid. He’s a member of a species from a planet so crowded that they’re not allowed to breed unless they’re a property owner. Someone explains that Boardwalk is ‘property’ and his hormones kick in. He grabs the box lid, speed reads the rules, and then pronounces “we’ve been playing rules X and Y incorrectly!”

49.9 If an ability moves a unit outside of the “Movement” step of a tactical action, players follow the rules specified by that ability; neither a unit’s move value nor the rules specified above apply.

So the logistics card does allow the ships to ignore movement rules. I could have moved my dreadnaught from my home system to any other system I owned.

I had been going to have him use DIPLO last turn and changed it at the last minute. Oh well, you know what he's doing next.

This refers more to things like Transit Diodes where the ability is specifically geared towards moving units in a manner completely different than regular movement.

Maybe that's what you meant to do. The wording you chose when you made that card means that those two ships get to go anywhere when that rule is applied.

Don't like the interpretation? Change the wording.

I assumed logistics secondary would let you move any ship in your system to any system you owned that didn't have an enemy ship in.

To use the current map as an example. If the logistics card was played now with its current wording that ^^ rule would allow Twelve to move his flagship, a carrier, and 7 fighters into Mellon/Zohbat and initiate a battle with Morgoth.
