Unless that PN says 'here, have some trade goods immediately', or 'here, have a tech of your choice', that's probably a no deal. I want to try and use both actions on my strategy card, but to do that I need a couple of trade goods/resources beforehand.

I want to have good relations with you, but I need a deal that works for me as well. A promissory note is, to my mind, actually worth more than a couple of trade goods (which is all I'm asking for), certainly in the long run - so in that sense I'm asking for less from you.

So, I'm really happy you guys are getting fully into the spirit of hard negotiating and such, but I'd recommend some relaxation of caution around waiting for every little bit of negotiation to be worked out in advance. Aside from Tapper and ItGnaw, none of you are even neighbours yet. Stalling your turn by half a day so you can first show someone a promissory note you might be able to trade to them in, like, 3 more turns once you're finally neighbours and waiting for the response seems rather... unnecessary, IMO.

On the flip side, if you know you're going to be putting something up for auction or shopping around for deals, it's a good idea to try and do it as a format that works well for a forum - e.g. layout the offer ahead of when it's your turn and by the time it is your turn see what offers have been made.

Twelve - I'd like to see that potential 3rd PN that you were talking about. I wouldn't mind that second of the ones you showed me, but I feel like it sort of goes against the PN of mine that you're interested in, at least for if/when I use it. I'd much rather trade you for something that synergises well, but am still open to my 2nd for your 2nd.

Khell - I'd like to see if anyone else is interested in the Speaker chip to see if they've got something more interesting to offer me, but I would certainly consider giving it to you along with 1 TG for the PN you showed me.

It says Promissory Notes can be exchanged as part of transactions, and the transactions section says you can negotiate transactions with neighbours.

And then Blend's racesheet says he can negotiate transactions with players who are not his neighbours.

Now we're not limiting the trading to one-per-player-per-turn like the rules say, but nevertheless you can still only trade commodities/trade goods/PNs to the same players that the transaction rules allow - that is, only to neighbouring players, and Blend can do so with anybody on his turn.

Fair enough, yes Blend can trade to anyone on either of their turn (and negotiate it in advance, with it just being executed as soon as either of their turn arrives)

If I gave it to blend then blend could give it to twelve and vise versa
