So if you had 2 riders to use and if an agenda is a pass or fail situation can you place one rider for and the other against guaranteeing that you get one of the benefits?

Thanks to two people who actually wanted it to pass until they saw Khell and I had riders on it and would actually get a little something.

But you were vehemently opposed to it passing before playing the rider - either you or Khell even called it hedging your bets, iirc.
It might be time zones, but at no point did you offer incentive to influence us one way or another (IH would have been hard to offer to, but I am next to you, and an indication of which Strategies you'd be willing to pass on would already have gone quite some way).

I don't know what ALL the agendas are, but like, the "Committee Formation" is an example of an "Elect a Player" agenda.

The Crown of Thalnos agenda that I switched out using Politics was an "Elect a Player" agenda:

Yes.

So if you win Form Committee you could use it later to automatically give yourself a good bonus from an Elect a Player agenda. OR you could use it to force a bad result from a painful Elect a Player agenda onto someone else.

Oh, well, I assume if you can elect yourself using votes, you could also elect yourself using the agenda card... But I'll let D'rek confirm or deny that one as I am not certain.

And pretty much all the "Elect a Player" agendas are good bonuses. The only time you wouldn't want one is there are a few that put a target on your back (e.g. good bonuses that are transferable to someone attacking you)
