Received a PM from 'hapedluh' subject: Discounts! 2018 top products

First I've ever received as a PM. Is there any way to 'report' these sorts of things like you can a board post? If there is I didn't see it.

Regretfully I think I'll pass on these outstanding bargains.

DELETE

EDIT: huh, I could have sworn there wasn't a 'report' button on the bottom left in that PM unlike everywhere else, but all my other PMs have them, so I guess I just blanked on it.
Man that's getting worse in my old age, missing obvious stuff.

"Hardcore porn has distorted nearly every aspect of my life. Whenever I put fuel in the car, I pull the nozzle out just before the tank is full and spray petrol all over the ground. Watering the garden means inviting some mates over and five of us hose the same plant. I don't fluff my pillows anymore, I motorboat them. I don't shop at Big W anymore, to me its BBW. Somebody please help me." - Howser, of BNE

"Obi wan was a bearded religious fanatic, living in a cave in the desert, who duped young men into blowing up a government installation. How is he different from Osama bin Laden?" - Joe Blow

"So half you lot want to free the nipple as not being able to walk around topless is demeaning. The other half want to ban all scantly clad women, as its also demeaning them. Then as a male if I don't want your junk hanging out in public Im a patriarchal misogynist, or if Im happy for you to have your junk on display Im a pervy creep." - Whatevs, of Perth

Thanks for reporting, everyone.

Silly tech question from a total (l)user, but might it have been a real person just using a spam bot registration, then some sort of ctrl-c, ctrl-v for message and address list?

Or can bots do all that sort of thing by themselves now from go to whoa?

You know how tech-y I am - ie not.

The assassins have been decanted and launched.
PUST: I shall give you Hounds of Life a mission of Death! Yes! YES!!!! You shall go forth and... *babbles, drools, something about sex with spiders*
SKYE: *whispers* Chase, i don't think he's a very nice person.
CHASE: *whispers* I know! But i think we're stuck doing what he says.
SKYE: Will we get in trouble?
CHASE: I dunno, we usually listen to a ten-year-old kid and no one's died yet. How much worse could it be?

Both are possible.

But if it's a human doing it, they've got to have a reason to do so -- usually because it's a clickfarm and they're getting paid for it. Those sorts aren't likely to try and spam us since we're such a small and niche forum: what company would pay a clickfarm to spam their ads in a fantasy book forum when instead they could pay the clickfarm to spam the ad on facebook or give them fake amazon reviews.
