So I’m almost done with this book (about 200 pgs left) but I️ have to ask a question about wtf just happened with Ghost Hands. My idea is this...
Heboric was in fact the Shield Anvil not the Destraint of Treach. That much was clear.
Now were these jade statues filled with screaming souls the manifestation of Treachs pain/grief and Heboric did what Itkovian did?
And in MoI Itkovian took upon himself the grief of a unknown God... was this actually Treach or is that not answered yet. Sorry this whole scene made me confused As hell. Please help

Actually, since this is TBH I might even be wrong. Like between HoC and TBH you can piece it together. But maybe not.

I’ll finish the book then reassess. Gunna take a break from Malazan for Stormlight Oathbringer release tomorrow so hopefully I’ll remember some key factor here.
