Is there a way to search a specific thread for all posts by one member. like a filter that shows only posts by one member, but only in the current thread?

You might be better served by clicking on the member who you wish to search, and then hitting their history under their avatar, and searching that? I think that would work.

Search their name within the topic. You'll get responses too, but hey, the universe is an imperfect place.

Google might also help you if you throw in some boolean logic.

But it would have to be a pretty unique combination of queries.

Ah

Other forums I've been on have had a post isolation hook, in each thread you just pick the user you want to see and boom, away you go!
