In chapter 2 Tattersail notices (after the battle) that Anomander Rake never bothered to aim, but didn't earlier in the chapter it is shown that the sorcery was aimed at the mages and they deflected it which killed soldiers? And how did she knew that the sorcery that killed Calot and injured Hairlock had been aimed at them? Moreover, did the whole 2nd and 6th army got wiped out?
