Looking at the time, did he not pick up Kamara before NO played and Charles before Denver played? You're allowed to drop players who have already played for players who haven't gone yet.

That is... counter-productive. Needs changed. What's the point if you can drop players who have already played for another chance?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Both NO and Denver played on Monday night. But you are correct Denver was the late game so the NO player should have been locked down.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

I think it was 12 who got the rule changed. There was a Thursday night game, and after it, I picked up a player from it.

Under our old rules, where all players are unavailable starting Sunday thru Tues/Weds, the Thursday night game was the only game where you could do this, and I grabbed someone that someone wanted. I think it was 12.

I grabbed the NO player before the game started. Then dropped him and grabbed the Denver player before the Denver game started.

I didn't make the rules. I just used them in the best possible way.

Yeah, we need to shut that down cause you've been using it against everyone else in the league who hasn't.

Not cheating, but obviously abuse of the system.

There's a thing on reddit about this called "the lottery". Basically trying to grab the best handcuff available and keep adding / dropping RBs as the games happen in case the stud RB going down. Smart but definitely gamesmanship.

I dont care to change it if there is a consensus. Let me check what the options are.

The other options are waiver starts at the Thursday game or on Sunday.

Its been this way for a year or so. A player is a FA until their game begins, then they are locked down until the Wire on Tuesday.

Well, that's really flexible.

If there's nothing to stop dropping already played players for not having played players then the design is shit.

You can only drop them if they were on your bench. You can't drop anyone in you had in your lineup once the game starts.

If we change it, then I vote change it back to Sunday waivers. If they hit waivers on Thursday then we'd all only have about 24 hours each week to add or drop players.

If you'll remember, the reason we changed it in the first place is players who play on Thursday stay FA until sunday. Which is stupid.

So if a player goes off on Thursday night, they dont go on the waiver wire, anyone can pick them up.

The only other option is Continuous waivers. https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN6811.html

I pointed this out up above. I think it was 12, and it was when I grabbed someone from a Thursday night game. But that's the only game affected.

Continuous Waivers - In this mode, all unclaimed players are on waivers at all times. When a manager makes a claim to add a player, a clock starts, letting other managers have the chance to make a claim on the same player.

Hmmmm, hell to the No. Takes too much time and takes away using the waiver wire as strategy. We may as well start our lineups and leave them that way , stagnant, all season.

We either stay as we are or go back to having the Thursday game the only game where players will have played but won't hit waivers until ALL the rest until Sunday like before.

I am fine with either.

Waiver is Sunday - Wednesday correct? Obviously us European's cannot grab players like Brujah did because we'd have to be up at 3 am on a Monday night. Watch the game, see what happened, who got injured and grab the replacement fast
Apt is the only one who reads this. Apt is nice.

That's the way it use to be two seasons ago, and is probably the most fair considering we do have players from outside the US. I'd be fine with going back to Sunday - Wednesday waivers.
