Buffy: Does it get easy?
Giles: What do you want me to say?
Buffy: Lie to me.
Giles: Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.
Buffy: Liar.

Kilava didn't vote. Interesting.
I didn't vote because I thought it was a good idea to see if you and Lock were actually going commit to something.
If Jalan is a vamp, well, that's fantastic. But my gut is telling me he's not and that the Lock and Merrid posts I've been reading for the last while have seemed more than a little off-kilter.
Like Galain before me has said, maybe it's just a paranoid panic attack. I sure hope it is.
Your gut settled down? Can we take some constructive action? Like lynching the vampire?
My gut? Settled down? No, not really.
I said yesterday that if Jalan turned out to be a vamp then there was likely a vampire gumming up my formerly "Merrid and Lock are humans" near certainty.
Yeah, if recruits are unaware of the identities of fellow recruits, then Galain can be still be considered a distinct possibility. But there was no kill last night and yet another recruitment may have occurred, confusing things that much more.
So my gut is as unsettled as ever. As should all of our guts be.
Agree that everyone's a suspect again to varying degrees.
I would say in my case that even if recruits didn't know each other, it would be foolish for me to drive a lynch on someone who was among the most likely to be a vamp. Especially in a game which has petered out somewhat and could quite potentially have had another day of no lynch.
What's your excuse? And what is your assessment of Lock and Merrid now?
I think I need to read through the last few days again. I really did think that if Jalan turned out to be a vamp, that would be it.

Whoever the vamp is must have been one while Jalan was alive.

I think I need to read through the last few days again. I really did think that if Jalan turned out to be a vamp, that would be it.
My "excuse" is that I was watching closely as I have been all along. Once Jalan had two votes I was waiting to see if Merrid would or wouldn't hammer. He did, but had he not, I wasn't going to let the day end with yet another no lynch. My vote would have come at the last minute, but it would have come. No reason for anyone to believe that, but I really needed to see Merrid take action.
-----
In the last Buffy game, Buffy was RP and LP. There's nothing to make me think otherwise about this game.
Buffy CAN'T reveal, but she CAN be revealed. By surviving a lynch. I don't know if unmasking Buffy is a good or a bad thing, but I'm thinking right now that the person I think is probably Buffy is either Buffy or a vampire. If that person got three votes they'd either become a dead vampire or a surviving Buffy.

Sorry, it was Lock who hammered, but my feeling about needing to see action from Merrid extended to Lock too, maybe moreso.

I know I'm not a vampire.
I strongly suspect Merrid is not a vampire.
Kilava's playstyle has led me away from him being a vampire.
I suspected Galain since yesterday, therefore:

You're a moron whose stated reasons for suspecting me did not match up to what I have said and done. Like, literally to the extent that it was the opposite.
But I gave up on you having some good insight about three days ago, so at least you're living up to expectations.

For reference:
What I'm thinking is that I accused Nimander for all the wrong reasons and there is a third party doing the lynches.
What I'm sure is that voting night is not a good idea.
What I'm wondering is what I should be looking for in the thread in the last few pages.
Is our killer a vampire who has inherited a night kill? Is he an independent/third party? Or is is possible for Buffy to kill townies by mistake? We should be looking for different things on thread in any of those cases.
One things for sure though, people's reaction to my suggestion we vote night can be really helpful in figuring it out. For example, were I to have a night kill and see someone has suggested a vote for night on thread due to the assumption there are no more night kills, I'd either show lukewarm support for the idea or oppose it half-heartedly. In either case, chances are the day is going to end without a lynch and I'll get to practice my magik risk free.
Based on the reasoning above, my suspicions of Galain have increased.
Your last two sentences do not go together. Please show me where I supported or did not stand in the way of going to night. Because I'm pretty sure I objected to it on the grounds of I don't know what the fuck's still out there
But it's okay, I forgive you, as your reasoning does appear to have been wonky all game.

Well that's interesting. I'd like to know what Lock thinks about voting night now. I assume that kill wasn't Buffy just going off the rails
What made them so sure that vamps would have nothing left?
I'm still leaning toward Jalan but Kilava's "lynch me" plea is grating on me.

Hey Kilava, I have very very good reasons to believe Lock is Town.
I also think you are Town.
Which makes me think Galain is the last vamp.
Vote Galain

I would like you both to elaborate on these statements if at all possible.
You're both on the same page, so if you're vampires the best Galain and I can do is vote night. I suggest Galain do just that while we await Lock's and Merrid's replies.

If I could elaborate I would. Remember the no reveals rule. Also at this point voting night would give the advantage to the vampire.
Kilava I also have a very good reason to believe that you are town.

I have a very good reason to believe that one of you is scum. Two good reasons actually.
Can I elaborate? Why yes.
1) I know I'm town. My actions speak for themselves too. Always wanting to lynch Nim over Lock, then Jalan.
2) A train is being driven on me with haste by scum and an idiot being taken advantage of. On that account, what happened to all the finding abilities which seemed to be hinted at in previous days. Are we to seriously suggest no one has looked at me to ascertain the truth? Or is it that those abilities went away once recruitment happened?
Obviously I'm not talking about Buffy being recruited. But I don't see why Angel couldn't be. Does that not fit with the series? Now, which one is which, Kilava? I strongly suspect Lock to be Buffy, but perhaps I'm wrong and it's the other way round?

Oh and the reason I'm discounting you is because you haven't hammered.
Unless you're actually a vamp who thinks I'm another vamp lol.

I can't elaborate either. If the two of us were recruited and you voted night, we'd win by tomorrow anyways. Since you're not going to get a lynch on either on of us, your best bet is voting Galain.
I'm not arguing with him because arguments with scum are pointless. Nimander was very adamant about his towniness as well, remember how that turned out?

I find it all but impossible for both you and Merrid to be recruited. Obviously that's not the case otherwise the game would have been called already.
An argument which is, 'you have no choice except to do what we say' is an odd argument to make.

And yeah, remember who refused to be lured by Nimander's adamant towniness? And I didn't have an ability to do the work for me on that account.

Unfortunately in a game with a recruit mechanic your past record is often not enough.
I am 100% sure that Lock is town and on the same team as me.
I am somewhat sure of Kilava.
I have no clue about you.
