It's no secret that I've disliked Amp's play from the beginning. So I don't think me finding this post pretty damning would be a surprise to anyone. I still think Amp's play cannot be explained by anything other than him being scum.

Denul was Drusila, so going by Buffy season 2, Amp could be Spike and they could easily have a lovers convo.

A lover convo would not be surprising. But even if they were not lovers, factions usually have a master-minion relationship, where minions know the master. I don't know Buffy lore, so not sure if Drusilla would be the master or a minion. But if master, I'd expect a BP, so that would leave Denul as a minion knowing (and, in this case, protecting) his master. It adds up so far.

I'm also not sure using Game 1 as comparison for mechanics is the best idea, since each game is based on a different season in the show, and circumstances change.

So I was looking through the thread for possible alternatives to Ampelas and I came up with a couple of things.

Its kind of late here and I am not going to post huge blocks of quotes, but it strikes me that Jalan has not really said much. He has posted, but not a lot of substance.

Another thought is that if there are paired vampires as I suspect is the case, given Denul's style of play, the other vamp may prefer to stay quiet on thread. Going by this, I think Kilava has been very quiet.

This is speculation, I don't have hard evidence, but incase Ampelas goes bust, these are two angles which could be looked at.
