I'm fairly certain it'll be the first time I have EVER seen that if it happens.

If town wins on day 2 I'll personally tout "House" as greatest new player ever as a signature.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Well, House currently has his Night 2 heal on the symp, though....

Fair enough, though it'd be nice if they now lynched him for it

To be honest if I was town and alive I'd probably be going mainly after him

Gust's waiting for Rashan's opinion on KIlava before hammering seems like a perfectly sensible thing to do since Rashan could as well be NKed before managing to get his opinion on thread. And Kitsu pushing on him would make him look scummy to me. I'm not sure why am I posting this as it just makes me look even worse.

Not through the woods. And playing a mindfuck by appealing to their perspective of what is intelligent and stupid. Hey, if I win, it wasn't stupid, right?

..... so not going to win. Got to find that fucking BG.

So here is what we are doing tonight PS. I am going to keep fucking with their minds. NO KILL TONIGHT. Love to see what the healer does with that.

Plus, I want a few more chances to lynch that damned BG before I risk my own hide.

Lol

But that would totally go into my bio for the championship!

If I'm not usurped shortly after this game that is.

Nom, you need to lose the alt. You want to read what's going on, but it means you could technically be communicating still.

It's a rule for a reason.

I wasn't aware there was a rule limiting use of game alts here after the player dies, skimming through the rules I didn't notice anything like that

And I mean if I'm trusted to view the spoilers that include PS password I'd assume I'm trusted to use my alt without violating any rules too

Also Blend, since general rules only address this about on thread posting, is someone in any lover convo allowed to post in the convo after they're lynched but the lynch is not yet confirmed by PS?

Technically no, much like once you are lynched on thread, you shouldn't be posting on thread either, but I play fast and loose with that rule. Until I tell you that you're dead, I'll generally be lenient. After I've told you that you're dead, however, you are not to communicate directly with players in any way (except if you're helping with mod duties).

Guess this should be added to the general rules

Normally it's not a big deal. But you usually see people posting in alt post-game. As a scum member with a lover convo it is a little different this early game. If you want to read Gust's stuff just ask PS to post all his PMs.

Yeah, we are all honorable, but there have been issues in the past. Thus the wall o' text to start the game.

Yeah, no chance in hell i'm revealing today.

By not revealing, I'm keeping his dumb ass free of NKs, because the natural assumption is that I'll be guarding him.

And who the fuck would counter to show up as symp?

Too many flaws to list with this suggestion.

It's best to assume we don't have a BG, and let him try to do his thing. How is that not obvious?

This here has a LOT to do with site meta. House is from MafiaScum, and the only game I ever played over there, I called people out for making drive by votes without a case, which had basically everyone jumping down my throat so hard that I had to reveal as healer on Day 1 to avoid being lynched. They said outright that was a fair trade, which I think is a load of shit. I then spent the rest of Day 1 arguing like crazy with anyone that tried to drop votes without cases, or for others who jumped onto trains without reasons and stuff like that, and got completely shut down over and over again.

They just play Mafia different over there.

A couple things that I've noticed this game that House has done that we usually do not accept around here:

1) Healer reveal on Day 1 along with the suggestion of the BG reveal. Though in this case it could have been smart, it's not something that we do around here. Usually we save reveals as last hopes to prevent town from lynching us, or at least later in the game.

2) These posts right here:

I've stated my thoughts.

Cases are for scum.

View PostNimander Golit, on 11 May 2017 - 04:38 PM, said:

Cases are used car sales pitches.

Everybody has the same information on the same players. If we are being up front and open on our thoughts in every post, we shouldn't need a "case" to summarize those thoughts to empower the lazy to lean on our work product.

On these forums, we use cases to make decisions. You're not likely to get much support for any wagons you want to lead unless you give everyone the information you used to get to that point. Ment actually made a great comment to rebut this:

View PostRashan, on 11 May 2017 - 04:51 PM, said:

Cases point out inconsistencies in players' behaviour. Those inconsistencies are what suggests they are acting with ulterior motives or are privy to extra info that an average RI does not possess.

Unless you possess a photoiedetic memory, good luck recalling every post made over a 15 page game thread.

Simply saying "so and so is scum" (which you are not doing, to be fair- you are focused on one post, and you seem intent to keep hammering at it until Jalan is lynched) is far less persuading then providing your thought process as to why you arrive at a particular conclusion as to the merits of each suspect being scum. Often this thought process involves quoting the player's post to point out inconsistencies- ergo, "cases" .

Once again, mafia is a team game. Just because you are proven town, does not automatically make you right all the time. You are still required to convince others that your suggestion merit the most attention, in order to arrive at a majority needed for a lynch.

Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Are we really sure House isn't Mal? He sure sounds like him at times.
