Hey all, I haven't been around much (pretty consumed with work stuff until May) but I've still been able to spend the occasional lunch-break or social hour with a sketch-book in hand. I've digitized some of the results.

Impossible Anatomy -
The descriptions of the Assail have been particularly interesting, in terms of "solving" their appearance - with out just giving their arms and legs a sort of snake's spine.

Not great, but there are few interesting aspects I'll hopefully revisit. In the meantime, it was enough to inspire this other unfinished sketch

I'm actually quite fond of the Handmaiden in this drawing, the cording of the assail's musculature it kind of neat as well. I'll post more what I next have a few minutes.

I'd like to see the finished version of that fight sketch... it makes the FA look nicely alien and violently effective.

Yeah, thats really well done Plugo, I forget to mention how much i like the arrogance on the FA's face.

Nice expression! ;)

Thank all, I sure would like to revisit that piece at some point.

In the meantime here's another scan…

An older sketch of Rulad drawn in the same sketch pad as the above, also done mostly in the dark (during commercial breaks).

Hey there all,

I'm neck deep in deadline/production mayhem . . . but I've had the chance to spend a lunch break with my sketchbook.

Here's a one I worked on after reading ORB, SCEPTRE & STONE.

The Tyrant of Darujhistan.
