on the same sorta line, the bit where tool comes to toc just after toc has gone into anasters body and says "i would look upon you one more time" or something, i thought it was lovely, infact the whole toc/tool friendship, and how tool only went into the keep at coral to get toc from the seer.
oh and another toc one, where baaljag waits near tocs body and doesnt go straight to the other wolfy whos name i forgot.

Not really warm and fuzzy, but a scene that always hits me hard is in K'rull's bar at the end of MoI when Duiker says "Permit me break your hearts one more time....Let me tell you about the chain of dogs. About Coltaine, newly arrived fist of the 7th army....". After the trauma of MoI, to then experience in an instant the trials of the Chain, it's powerful stuff.

I'm with Abyss on this one.... The Mincer / Bungle thing and Coltaine, Duiker, Bult and List trying not to laugh... magic.
Crool - yeah, that scene maybe doesnt get me warm and fuzzy but it does break the heart.
Another scene is when Paran, Gruntle and Quick Ben are talking in Capustan about sanctioning the Crippled God's new House of Chains... yep.

Yep, that scene was the quintessence of 'warm and fuzzy', Hetan. Three friends meeting again, no words spkoken but you can feel what they mean to each other

And most of the others mentioned...

after a reread with particular attention to the prologue I think that the girl jaghut meeting with the pannion seer was the ultimate right to the ultimate wrong. What got to me was kilivas attitude to the whole thing, Not wrong just...aloof.

The scene after Whiskeyjack's betrayal as the alliance begins to marshall itself before a hopeless situation...Tiste Andii preparing their warrens despite the toll the infection was taking on them; Gruntle leading the charge with the grey Swords- right into the gaping maws of the K'ell Hunters.
Baruk and the Tennes Witch in their circle of protection against the coming assassins. For me that was so touching *sniff!*
Also, the Ceda's meticulous preparation to deal with the sea demon and face Hannan Mossag...despite what he seemed like and what everyone else was thinking.

Just adding to my above one... something about Silanah and the soletaken Andii flying in formation against Raest in GotM just gives me the shivers.
I realize it's not all that original - Dragonlance, Pern, Deathgate, Darkness, any number of other series have done the 'dragon squadron' thing...
...and at that point Raest has been in the book like ten pages, and the dragons not at all... so there's none of the pay-off one might get from an 'Aragorn-leading-the-armies' kind of moment...
but something intrisically cool about them all flying nape-of-the-earth against this one just resurrected tyrant guy resonated.
- Abyss, knew then the book had been written as a screenplay.

Karsa at the end of HOC: "You should be."

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I liked it when Whiskeyjack tries to explain to Granoes about Silverfox/Tattersail. The line that goes something like" I can lead you forward a step at a time or with a single shove. There will come a time when you appreciate which of the two I took."

DHG: The scene when List tells Duiker about the murdered Jaghut family. Rusty, unyielding iron and cold, grating granite, that passage. Awesome!
"... and out of the past reaches the cold hand of the Jaghut."

DHG: "Does anyone else hear a God laughing?"
That is just a Woh! moment because after going through all that when u read that it takes u right back to the begining and u relive the whole book just with those seven words.
