“Behind this mask there is more than just flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea... and ideas are bulletproof Gas-Fireproof.”
I like the armour design and the sword has a classic look to it.
In my minds Eye I've always seen Bars as an Old man but this works too, theres a nice intensity to the facial expression. Amazing that you're doing this on an IPad. You should get a Wacom Tablet and try Photoshop, if you havent already. I find it offers way more control and versatility.

Was a bit surprised to read she's Napan but the image works with that in mind.
I'm doing paintsplorations according to Sinix, Speedpaints according to Marc brunet. basicly I'm starting and finishing ideas in one sitting. this is meant to boost my speed. I'll jump from character to character and Refine later in the year.

Looks good Cris. I just imagined him younger. But on the other hand we are missing descriptions of him as a grown-up man before his holidays at the Dolmens of Tiem. So it could also fit.
Shimmers blue skin is actually only mentioned in RotCG, if I remember correctly. Her short stature and black hair more often. As ICE later decided that she was from Itko Kan, I'm not sure if he just forgot her initial description. I guess I should reread DL and search for a description of her.
This started as a portrait of K'azz. But I'm not sure now. Maybe made him too... ragged?
Call it a wip or maybe it fits someone else? crimson guard_1.jpg(259.96K) Number of downloads: 0

That image of Kazz is probably one of your best portraits to date, CN - the raggedness is spot on from where I am looking. What gets me are the eyes - they look so world-weary... in them I can see his knowledge of what the vow is doing to them... I think you have captured the soul of Kazz in those eyes.

Agreed; that's a very sympathetic K'azz. No matter how heroically he starts, and I imagine he was strikingly so when his mission began, it seems he'll look more an more like this as the story of his trials go on.
