Awesome take on Kalam, Christheren! Those are some dangerous-looking long knives.

I'm excited to see who's next.

I really like the knives and the way you drew the grips slightly different.
His gear is great - very how I picture a Claw who wants people to know what he is.
Might look good with a darker colour than the orange used for some of the armour. The brown looks like leather but the orange jumps out.

Great art, but I've never pictured Kalam as wearing that much armor. It'd make him creaky, not sneaky.

@Abyss I tried to put a copperish effect but the the color came out orangey...will do another version going for a darker color outfit..
@HoosierDaddy I see your point ....Thats the best thing about reading the book let your imagination take you...armor can be invested with magical properties, ...Posted ImagePosted Image

Like the Karsa. Throw the bear cloak on him and it'd be cover worthy for HoC. If IIRC, that might be tBH though.

All in all some really good drawing, personally I'd say you may be losing something working off a white background as you have been but your style might be inline with that look so who am I to judge. I like the detail work, the Characterisation is spot on.

really glad to see new blood in the art section of the forums, WELCOME! B)

So glad to see you join in. I was just admiring both of these pieces on DeviantArt over the weekend, Great job, these look much nicer on a big screen rather than on a phone.

I like what you're doing here. Karsa in the bear hoodie makes him seem very young - would love to see that image with him wielding his bloodwood sword. Nice attention to detail, are you generating this artwork digitally?

Your linework has a lot of potential. Mmh, maybe you'd like to try flat-colour coloration instead, though? As of now, the quality of the coloration almost clashes with that of the lineart.
