Hey, guys. I'm moving Malazan Empire to its own server on this coming Monday (19/12/2016), 12pm GMT. The forum shouldn't be down for more than a few hours.

Dammit Xae I told you I need two weeks to have the lambs delivered in time.

Will goats be ok? Same number? Will colour matter?

Also, real frankincense is a complete hassle to obtain on these timelines so your choices are patchouli or a 'winter pine' car freshener. Your call.

No. Well, members who dislike Pink Floyd or use Apple products may see their reputation points take a hit.

15 goats. Brown with green spots only. Car freshener will do so long as it sexually arouses at least half the goats.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Thank god.
I wasn't sure the food dye on the goats would last.

Especially the aroused ones.

Quick reminder that the migration is tomorrow. After the DNS has updated and everything looks OK, I'll switch the site offline again briefly to enable HTTPS.

Reporting all green on this end. Samuel L Jackson is on-call in case we need to make any dire pronouncements.

As you can see, the board is back up. I'm still hunting down some URLs that are still being loaded via plain HTTP.

The multicolored goats have been nicely taken care of!

Thanks, Xae!
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Finally I am able to stop chanting. My voice is almost gone and the blood from the goats is starting to dry. From what I can see I think that Abyss and Drek gave up on stopping Grief from dancing naked around the fire. In fact it looks like they have joined him. Either that or the peyote has fully kicked in.

Regardless the ceremony was a success and we are back and up.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

First Bug Report: I can't embed youtube videos.

Here's a link to the Blade Runner thread I just made:

https://forum.malaza...87#entry1265287

Normally if you just post a link with the security s removed the forum auto embeds the video. That doesn't work now.

Tried manually adding media tags around the link and it still didn't embed. In fact, if you use the media tags the link disappears all together when you submit the post.

Looks like the Youtube Media Tag's output code doesn't work anymore now that we're HTTPS. I'm googling around for possible alternative tag logic that will work.
