Not sure where else to put this, but Michael Whelan (fantasy and sci-fi cover artist extraordinaire)...basically the artist of any and every fantasy book I had as a kid, is making a new art book. And it's on Kickstarter. Some cool rewards and perks too!
Anyways, have a look if you're so inclined. I'm always willing to support such an incredible artist, and the costs are pretty low if you just want the book softcover.

No worries.
I've asked for a Whelan print for Xmas (TO GREEN ANGEL TOWER), so hopefully that will adorn my wall as well come the new year.
I love his stuff!

Wow this did triple the goal already. Thank goodness cuz I already gave my donation $ to the Kickstarter to make sure Darrell K. Sweet never has a reverential art book like this released.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

not for me - he's average at best and his dragons are terrible which is a deal-breaker. I do have a soft spot for A Weasels's Luck back in the day but I'm not interested unless he makes a real effort and goes after it
