Cloak and daggers early on I see. You know what the problem is going to be with this game, hardly any lynches, because the votes will be split in two and teams will be highly disadvantaged if they lynch one of their own.

Is that how you would prefer to play the game? You calling it a problem suggests that not, if that's right perhaps others do neither?

There's also the survivor

So how many beers?

To be precise, none

Interestingly the firetruck didn't cause such reactions, maybe I hit a nerve with the remove?

Actually I did. What's with the yellow and red theme?

Probably that Trake's and Anthras's avatar colour schemes hurt my eyes. And luckily I'm on phone and don't have to see Pallid's one yet closely but it looks ridiculous already.

Not a fan of the flaming tiger, eh?

You are so nice and gray yourself.

But why make random one-word color comments that seem incoherent at first?

Ah ofcourse you're getting at Ironman signalling

I was making fun of Trake, no point in trying to convince you the colour scheme wasn't deliberate, go on and vote wherever you want based on that if you think it was then

Edit: messed up quoting

Mmmm to be perfectly honest, I had not settled on Ironman, I always thought he was more maroonish black and gold...

Are both of you assuming that the teams will know themselves?

Everyone knows their leaders, leaders don't know anyone (game rules). I think Trake is implying everyone will refuse to vote unless the individual they're intending to vote for will be obviously member of one of the factions, in which case the faction of which he is member just won't vote them resulting in stagnation.

Well the Survivor may get the party started, votes split 5 vs 5 and he pops on and sinks a player. I'd like to lynch the other team to death if I knew who they were and we can get their own members to lynch them.

We are on the same team though aren't we Tulas? Aren't we?

Yes this.

I have a small inkling on two players at the moment, so I guess the more people vote, the more comfortable you'll be whether a player is on your team or not. The problem then is going to convince 5 others that they are not on your team or theirs!

I thought we're all just bits of Abyss's shattered soul anyway?

No point in those speculation, I guess we shall see after this day.

Over half the players

Yeah my problem with the stagnation theory of yours is I'm not really opposed to lynching a player whose affiliation is unclear to me because the scenario you painted would just be boring

Kaschan and co haven't checked in yet.

I'll vote again when we have a full deck.

you must be on Cap's team. The tech-heads definitely aren't playing with a full deck.

I don't get this. Apparently there's some "full deck" reference that rocketed just above my head?

Morning, everyone. Runnin late for work, because transit.

On topic: there's usually some early leader signalling/ fake signalling that leads everyone to conclude "person X can't b on my team", followed by the semi-random lynch of X. Then night actions happen, and the people start taking stock of the situation Day 2.

I immediately took it for Iron Man signalling. The supplied "explanation" does not compute. Could easily be a ruse, too. A risky move either way. I'm either distressed or pleased. Am I distressed or pleased? Why, yes, I am. Or not.

Not operating with a full deck.

A few bricks short of a load.

The lights are on but no one is home.

Mentally deficient, that sort of thing. You savvy now?

Hmm

Fire truck

Tony stark

They have same number of syllables, same number of letters, AND both end with a "K"

Coincidence? I think not!

So much potential signalling I would not know where to start. I have my suspicions though.

Was there a fire truck in the airport scene? Will need to rewatch when I'm home.

Any excuse to watch that scene is alright.

Is it too early to be calling people out for WIFOMing?

Hmm. Rhetorical question. That could be any and all Marvel characters. You're going to need to be more specific with your signalling.
